Stats

While making stats for a new charecter I was wondering what the uses are of a couple of the stats yall have, as some of them seem rather useless.
1.Ninjutsu-What is this supposed to mean, it isn't like not having enough of this will keep you from using ninjutsu. So wouldn't it not matter how high this is?
2.Genjutsu-Same as Ninjutsu
3.Intelligence-Most Rpers always try their best to win, and won't RP their character correctly if they know they will lose that way. (me included).
4.Seals-I know if someone has high this stat they don't have to mention them in posts. But why does it matter since the jutsu will still be done in 1 post.
Could someone please clarify these for me, because these are just the meanings i get from them.

For the jutsu how adept you are changes the power of the jutsu
EX. Sasuke and Kakashi both know chidori but Kakashis is more powerful because he is more adept in jutsu
Intelligence: This has nothing to do with your chance of winning. A character can be an idiot and still win, ex. naruto. This seems(at least to me) a measure to keep people in character and prevent god-modding
Seals: Well even if its just one post isnt that still an advantage? That means while your oppenent is still preparing you could be attacking, One post can make the difference in a fight

pretty much waht kouki said...
ninjutsu-determines how good you are with ninjutsu...
ie: high stat number means you are great at using ninjutsus, rather than say taijutsu...can also be used to determine the outsome of a one on one attack that collides...and strength of all your ninjutsu abilities, rather than just relying on the jutsu itself, after all, it's the shinobi that makes the jutsu strong, not necessarily the jutsu itself.......
genjutsu-same here......how good u are with illusions, strength of jutsu
intell-well, this one is kinda hard, but usually someone can think their way out of it...this includes knowledge of opponent abilities and tactics ...
seals-when its low and you have to write" use handseals" or something like that, you create an opening each time for your opponent to counter or dodge, etc....
